Cheiro De Norte is a rare and highly valued habanero variety pepper. Despite its habanero ancestry, it has a very pleasant spice level, accompanied by an explosive fruity flavor that adds a whole ton of magic to any dish. The plants are easy to grow, super productive, and bear fruits over many years. They are not heavy feeders, so work as an excellent companion crop with other crops. The most amazing feature of this variety, however, is probably its coloration. It has an absolutely unique pinkish-orange color, that can barely be captured by any camera.  When the plant is covered in ripe pods, it can rival even the most flamboyant flowering plants. The pods have a good shelf life off the plant, and are particularly well suited to add to salads, salsas, pickles or anywhere where its complex flavor can shine through without being lost due to the heat of cooking.
