A traditional, heirloom variety of corn from China, used primarily for baby corn production. Unlike regular corn, this variety can produce 14-15 heads/ears of corn per plant, which can be harvested when immature to use as baby corn. The baby corn taste, unlike hybrid varieties, is super sweet and rich. The corn allowed to mature on the plant turns into small, red coloured cobs which can be harvested and used to make the most delicious and uniquely small popcorn once dry. Easy to grow, pest resistant, and also excellent as cow/livestock fodder.
