 Dill is an herb that was once prized for its culinary and medicinal value in India, but is slowly disappearing from our diet. Although almost every part of India has traditional dishes that used dill, today these recipes and the desi varieties are slowly disappearing from our kitchens and gardens, especially in cities. This is a shame as dill is a powerhouse of nutrition and although an acquired taste, it is delicious if used correctly. We were lucky to connect with a group of farmers in Uttarakhand who grow and preserve this desi variety of dill and are happy to bring you this variety to grow in your farms and gardens!
