A rare fruit, thats not an actual tomato, but a species closely related to tomatoes and eggplant. The plant is covered in thorns, and so are the berries until they are perfectly ripe, at which point the thorns automatically curly away and make the berries are to pick. The taste is delicious, sweet and sour. Makes excellent pies, jams, sauces or just eaten fresh. Extremely pest resistant and dorught resistant, and grows year long in our part of the country. Excellent for folks who want tasty fruits growing in their farms and gardens, without having to wait for several years. This begins producing fruits in just a few months
