The flavor and aroma of this variety is unbeatable! It’s super spicy, but even small quantities can be used to add loads of flavor without making a dish too spicy. The thin-walled fruits dry well and can be crushed into pepper flakes. This can also be mixed with water and sprayed on crops to make a natural (and extremely effective) deer and rabbit repellent! Red Habanero grow amazingly in semi-shade , as they naturally prefer low light intensity conditions. A single plant can produce several hundred pods in a season, and is perennial so can continue fruiting for many consecutive years if cared for.

Notes from Urban Grow Lab:
Beautiful red bulbs of chilli, so full of flavour and spice. The skin has a sweet ripe guava/peach-esque flavour mixed with citrus pops. This is very spicy, but not deadly. This one definitely does better in partial shade and wants a lot of compost. Our Habaneros do surprisingly well in a 10-inch grow bag. Slow to grow, but very productive once the plant gets going. Balcony growers will enjoy this one!
